Graphic design · Mini-Cassia and the Magic Valley

Built for the printer, not just the screen.

Twenty years of print design experience means I understand the whole process — not just how things look on screen, but how they hold up in your hands. I design print ads, guides, posters, and marketing materials for businesses in Burley, Rupert, Twin Falls, and across the Magic Valley.

Experience

Before I went out on my own in 2017, I spent seven years as advertising coordinator and graphic designer for King’s Variety Stores, a regional chain with 21 locations. I designed and produced more than 100 printed advertising circulars, managed print production, ran the company’s Xerox digital press, and coordinated advertising across every store. Since 2018 I’ve produced more than 50 travel guides for the Discover Area Guides series — the ads, maps, and page layouts in them. The guides reached nearly 30,000 households in 2023–24.

What this includes

  • Print ad design, single and multi-size
  • Multi-page publication and guide layout
  • Posters, flyers, and promotional materials
  • Business cards and stationery
  • Marketing materials for retail, tourism, and local business

Print production

If you work with a printer already, great — I’ll build files to their specifications. If you need guidance on that side too, I can help: paper, finishes, sizes, and which printer is right for the job.

Every file is checked for the things that get jobs sent back: bleed, safe margins, image resolution, fonts, and color set up for the press.

What it costs

Tell me what it is, where it’s running, and when it has to be at the printer. You’ll have a figure before I start.

Questions

What files do you deliver?

Print-ready files built to your printer’s specifications, plus web versions in whatever format you need. The working design files aren’t included by default.

Can you work with my printer?

Yes. Tell me who it is and I’ll build the files to their specifications. If you don’t have a printer, I can recommend one or handle it for you.

Do you do logos?

Yes — including Rest Assured Inn & Suites, Caliber Custom Services, and Prime Homes, shown above. A logo usually takes five to ten days.

How fast can you turn an ad around?

It depends on the ad, but usually within a few hours once I have the copy and photos.

Do you handle multi-page layout?

Yes. I’ve laid out more than 50 guides for the Discover Area Guides series over eight years — covers, maps, ads, and editorial pages.

Have something that needs to go to print?

Send me what you’re working on and when it needs to be at the printer.
